Postdoctoral research project. Do 'seg' and 'sin' have the 'same' distribution? Are they both syntactically bound, or do pragmatic/discourse/semantic factors play a role? Do the different Scandinavian languages treat 'seg' and 'sin' similarly or differently (within-group variation and between-group variation). 2. Dummy Objects (Expletive objects) in Icelandic and Scandinavian. Postdoctoral research project. Why does Icelandic need a pronoun in many cases before a clause, where the other Scandinavian languages do not? For this project, 19 recordings were made of 'stretching time' talk of a women's basketball team in the Australian Basketball Association.
